1. What is a Personal Care Attendent? A Personal Care Attendent (PCA) is an individual who provides personal hands-on care to a person by providing assistance with activities of daily living which the individual would normally perform if he/she did not have a disability.
2. What is Respite? To give relief to the family or person who normally cares for the disabled person and allows them to do things which they could not do because of their devotion to the disabled person; such as going shopping, outings with other family members, and vacations.
